On Thursday, April 20th, 2023, Rambam Health Care Campus was delighted to welcome a forty-person delegation from Boston, USA, under the umbrella of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and the Boston-Haifa Connection.
The delegation led by Barry Shrage, former president of the CJP, and one of America's foremost Jewish leaders, was welcomed by Professor Rafi Beyar, president of Rambam's International Friends Associations, Dr. Esty Golan, managing director of International Relations and Chief of Strategic Development, Professor Lior Gepstein, director of the Cardiology Division and Division of Research, Dr. Hany Bahouth, director, Division of Emergency Medicine and Trauma, Rabbi Michael Schultz, director of Spiritual Care Service and Inbar Shahaf, director, Unit of Resource & Market Development.
After touring the state-of-the-art, Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital, the delegation visited the Helmsley Health Discovery Tower, set to be the future home of medical innovation and research.
