תוכנית הקשר של בתי הספר מחיפה ומבוסטון הנקראת " מפגשים – (School 2 School )S2S " מתקיימת למעלה מ- 16 שנים כחלק מעשייה ענפה של ועדת עמיות יהודית בשותפות חיפה בוסטון, בשיתוף פעולה עם עיריית חיפה ובהובלתו החינוכית והפדגוגית של בית הספר הבינלאומי במכללת אורנים.
מטרת התוכנית הינה ,להעשיר ולחזק את הזהות היהודית, תרבות יהודית וחיים יהודיים, על ידי טיפוח עמיות יהודית דרך חינוך, לימוד ובניית קהילה ותוך שימת דגש על
ערכי הדדיות משותפים, קשרים אישיים ארוכי טווח, יהדות פלורליסטית ומקומה של מדינת ישראל כחלק מרכזי בזהותנו היהודית.
The photography program of the Jewish Peoplehood Committee
The Jewish Peoplehood Photography program, offers an extraordinary, face-to-face, and online experience for participants from Israel and Boston who seek to explore their identity not only as photographers, but also as American and Israeli teenagers. The acquisition of practical photography skills alongside theories of photography and art have been integrated with Jewish/Israeli/American identity and Peoplehood conversations. As you will see, the results are stunning and inspiring, providing a unique opportunity for a new form of personal and communal expression: the visual voice of Jewish Peoplehood.
